Visiting Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic

Punta Cana is located at the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic (a country that shares an island with Haiti). It has 20 miles of turquoise ocean and world class, palm tree lined beaches. That means plenty of space to swim and snorkel, or plenty of places to relax with a cute little umbrella in your drink.

Tropical temps average around 77 -80 degrees F though it can get much warmer. So pack your flip-flops and forget about snow gear for a while.
