Sylvia and Pam’s Travels

Just recently, our top travel planners Pam and Sylvia traveled for that exact purpose! Here are some more details on their trips. 

For those that were considering Punta Cana, Pam stayed at the Beautiful Majestic Colonial Resort in Punta Cana. It's a wonderful resort with 600 different rooms, but Pam felt that it still had an intimate feel, and it was easy to navigate because the restaurants were clustered together. The Majestic had a large shopping area and huge theater, and even their own medical center, pharmacy, and casino. It is jam-packed of things to do for your special day.
Pam had stayed in a club-level room. As a travel agent staying on Blue's behalf, she was given a VIP bracelet, giving her access to the entire resort, like things average guests wouldn't see. That way she was able to learn about the best places and deals for our clients for their wedding day! Pam loved Punta Cana, and said it had some of the most spectacular beaches she's ever seen. She also told me of some of the venue décor she had seen, like large coconut fronds lining the aisle that blow in the breeze, local flowers like hibiscus and palms that made for a great exotic feel, and a beautiful gazebo right on the beach that is able to be decorated with any color scheme of your choosing. Punta Cana and The Majestic Colonial would be perfect for a gorgeous destination wedding.

Our other travel planner, Sylvia, traveled to Mexico and visited a few different resorts. Starting with the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla, an adult-only resort located on a white sand beach. Sylvia mentioned especially liking the Yhi Spa, a full service indoor spa with a beauty salon. She also visited the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmeralda, kid-friendly and situated over the bay with picturesque turquoise water. They have an award-winning family concierge and lots of places for kids to be entertained. She also visited the Paradisus Cancun, and got to see examples of wedding reception setups and ceremony venues. The hotel was beautiful and accommodates guests perfectly, having so much to offer. On another cool note, Sylvia noticed that no matter what type of staff member you are near, they greet you no matter what by placing their hand over their heart and offering a warm hello. It was a rewarding, very cool experience.

Both Sylvia and Pam had a wonderful time in Mexico/The Dominican Republic, but we're glad to have them back!
